A bubbly Maine wild blueberry wine in a can
This can of wild is a delicious, irresistible banger. It contains the naturally fermented juice of one pound of Maine wild blueberries, raised and tended and hand-harvested by the Passamaquoddy Wild Blueberry Co. in and around Columbia Falls, Maine. Passamaquoddy have been harvesting this indigenous wild fruit for more than 1,000 years. We are proud to present this pure, minimally processed wine, scrumptious but also sort of serious.
How it’s made
The fruit
- Maine’s indigenous fruit, tended by Maine’s first people
- Sustainably raised wild blueberries, hand harvested around Colombia Falls, Maine
The winemaking
- The blueberries are harvested, foot-crushed & pressed in August
- Aged in stainless steel tanks for 8 months
- Light filtration
- Secondary fermentation at canning, force carbonated
