A wild apple & blueberry cider

blu(i)sh is a cider of Maine foraged apples and organic wild blueberries, co-fermented naturally,with no added yeast, sulfites or additives, and aged in used oak barrels for eight months before bottling.

It looks rosé-like, tastes rosé-like, dances in your mouth rosé-like, and oughta be used rosé-like, which means drink it wherever and whenever, don’t overthink it, have fun.

  • wild foraged apples from Waldo and Kennebec Counties, Maine
The winemaking

The blueberries are harvested in pressed in August, and the apples are harvested and pressed in November. Blueberry wine with live wild yeast is added to the freshly pressed apple juice to initate cider fermentation. The cider is then aged for eight months in used oak barrels. At the time of bottling, the finished blueberry wine and cider are blended to create blu(i)sh.

There are no added yeast or sulfites.
